Employees can request updates through verified channels to maintain accuracy. As part of mandatory requirements every employee upon leaving must inform their next employer's details within 90 days of their joining the company. They must update their records for up to 5 years with Virtuos Digital Limited.

If an employee absconds, Background.you records the verified status as “Absconded / Exit Not Completed” based on employer documentation. This ensures transparency while respecting privacy laws.
